Ernesto is a seasoned cybersecurity entrepreneur and operator. He has deep experience in security technology and operations, earned over two decades as a technology provider and in operating roles within major financial institutions, up to CIO/CSO. A passionate entrepreneur, Ernesto has started several successful small businesses, including security orchestration firm ZeroNorth, which he led through multiple rounds of funding and deployment at several fortune 100 companies.

Prior to founding ZeroNorth, Ernesto was the Chief Technology & Security Officer for Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group, responsible for transforming a legacy technology organization into a technology innovation service group. As a senior member of Bank of America’s Information Security & Resiliency Group and Corporate Audit organization, Ernesto was responsible for assessing and managing the information security risk of global technology vendors. Further, Ernesto has been a trusted advisor on cybersecurity private and public policy to members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. 

He is a member of the Massachusetts Cybersecurity Strategy Council and currently serves on the board of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.
