Sanjeev P. Yadav is the founder of Banyan Tree Global, an award-winning strategic and public affairs consultancy, global accelerator and investor with offices in Boston, London, and Delhi.  He is also a Senior Advisor at Chartwell Strategy Group.  Sanjeev brings a diverse set of experiences in both the public and private sectors from trade/diplomacy and international affairs to investment management, innovation, skill development and India and UK market expertise. Banyan Tree Global most recently was one of four global finalists in the XPrize Rapid Reskilling Challenge, which was a 30-month competition to quickly reskill under-resourced workers for the digital revolution and place them into employment.

Kanchan Banerjee

Managing Partner

Kanchan Banerjee is a Managing Partner at Banyan Tree Global and an experienced market authority on the USA/India partnership. He is also an Information Technology expert, with specialization in the healthcare sector. Additionally, he is the founder and managing director of the Boston Center of Excellence for Health and Human Development. Kanchan has worked in many senior roles for major technology companies such as Data General, EMC, and Raytheon. He is also the founder and President of an NGO called Global Indians for Bharat Vikas.

Kanchan has a Masters degree in Computer Science from Boston University, specializing in Artificial Intelligence.

Edward A. Palleschi

Director of Public Affairs and Business Development

Ed Palleschi is our Director of Public Affairs and Business Development, who is the former Undersecretary of Business Regulation and Consumer Affairs for Massachusetts. Ed had a successful career in government, political fundraising, and business. Most recently, he served in two major leadership positions for the 72nd Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker.

VINOD K. YADAV

Managing Director, India

Vinod Yadav leads BTG’s India team and is a seasoned economist, policy analyst and strategic advisor. He has a long experience in economic development, finance and technology with government, public and private organizations in the United States of America and India. He has been advisor to governments, and international agencies in the areas of economic development, energy, healthcare and education.

Vinod has a master's degree in International Development and Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School. He also has an MBA from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.

Dr. Dnyaneshwar Mulay

Senior Advisor

Dr. Mulay served as a Diplomat in the Indian Foreign Service (1983 – 2019). He is a renowned Author, Motivator and former Secretary to the Government of India. Most recently, he served as a Member, National Human Rights Commission, India from 2019-2024. Prior to that, he served as Secretary of Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs at the Ministry of External Affairs. Dr. Mulay brings an extensive knowledge and experience of the central government having worked in Ministries of Finance, Commerce, External Affairs and the Cabinet Secretariat.

Bilal W. Khan

Chief of Product & Technology

Bilal is an entrepreneur, technologist at heart and a veteran product leader. He oversees BTG’s Technology and Product practice. Bilal is also the founder and CPO of Grip Mobility, a security mobility company that solves safety and security needs for the transportation and mobility sectors. Bilal is a passionate believer in the power of Artificial Intelligence, especially Machine Learning, and how Autonomous Vehicles will transform the way we live and the critical role security will play in facilitating its adoption.

Bilal has a Masters in Management (Sloan) and Engineering from MIT and another Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington.

Ozzie Palomo

Managing Director, Chartwell Strategy

Ozzie Palomo is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Chartwell Strategy Group. He specializes in devising and executing advocacy strategies for clients in a bipartisan manner before the Legislative and Executive branches of the US federal government. He has broad experience working with large institutions, small businesses, start-ups, and publicly traded companies across all business sectors. Ozzie offers clients guidance on the intersection of policy and politics.

In addition to his role at Chartwell, Ozzie currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Wilson Center’s Wilson Policy Council.
